The white board's in place. The felt tip pens are good to go. All you need are those very important people to sit around the table and contribute - equally, fairly and constructively - to whatever it is you've called them together to discuss.

But that doesn't always happen, does it? Big personalities can dominate meetings; conversations can head off in unexpected directions; and that clear action point list you were hoping for can turn out to be very elusive.
